Dear participants of the 7th FAI European Championship in Flying Acrobatics Advanced Dubnica 2011.
Slovakia becomes the host of top of the European flying acrobatics in sporting motor-flight. I find it as an appreciation for our sportsmen and organizers, who can get in this challenging sector to organize important international event on the high sporting und public level. At the same time it is an excellent occasion to introduce our country as a hospitable land, where we are able to prepare also such as significant event. This championship will belong between such events, while there are not only a quantity of racers, their flying machines or airport alone, as well the region where this important sport undertaking will be held.
Precision and straightness in aviation is one of primer opinion of safety aviation and to have good pilots is serious treasure for each country. By this sport it is possible to obtain a lot of knowledge and experience which all active favorers of aviation sport surely use also in their professional life.
I am glad to know that also our expert pilots can be confronted in the home conditions with the European top and I believe that they pass through honorably.
I would like to highlight the organizer's work, especially the work of Aeroklub Dubnica nad Váhom and other organizations inclusive local self-government, who cooperated to have everything perfectly prepared and that the competitors, their realization teams, referees and all foreign visitors will feel in our country well.
To popularize our country on such level is valuable and I believe that we are able to utilize it full.
